No problem! You can still apply for a Convo Passport while abroad. Here's how.
Still in the U.S.?
Follow these steps before you travel to ensure uninterrupted access to VRS:
1. Go to My Profile. On our website, click on VRS Profile in the top navigation menu.
2. Login with your Convo number and password.
3. Click on the Passport tab in the top-right corner.
4. Fill out the form and click Submit.
We’ll review your request. You’ll be approved within 1–2 business days.
What happens next?

You’ll receive a confirmation email once approved.

This email means the FCC has granted you permission to make VRS calls from outside the U.S.
Important notes

After approval, log out and log back into your Convo app to activate international use.

Passport time is based on UTC/GMT: it starts at 12:00 AM and ends at 11:59 PM UTC.

A Convo Passport is valid for up to 365 days (1 year).
