How to register for a Convo VRS number

Your Convo VRS number connects you to interpreters. You’ll use it in Convo Call to make and receive calls. Here’s how to sign up for your VRS number and what to expect.

What if I want to keep my current VP number?
You can absolutely keep it — just transfer (port) your number to Convo.
Here’s how to port your number.


What to expect during registration

To meet FCC requirements and verify your eligibility, we may ask for:

  • The last four digits of your Social Security Number
  • A copy of your driver’s license or state ID (in some cases)

This information is securely handled and used only for verification.


What happens next?

After your number is set up:

  • You can start making calls right away in Convo Call
  • You’ll be able to connect with interpreters using your Convo VRS number
  • You can receive calls from others just like any VP number
