Convo Passport: Troubleshooting
Learn how to troubleshoot Convo Passport issues, including calling problems while traveling, network restrictions, and how to contact support.
Applying for a Convo Passport
To use your Convo number while traveling, you’ll need to apply for a Convo Passport.
Log in to your profile and submit a request for each phone number you plan to use.
Example:
If you have multiple Convo accounts (with different email addresses), you must apply for a Convo Passport for each account/number individually.
I can’t make or receive calls while traveling
This can happen for a couple of reasons:
1. Passport not applied to all numbers
If you have multiple Convo numbers, each one must have its own Convo Passport request.
2. Network restrictions (WiFi issues)
Some hotels, cafes, or public networks may block international calling.
Try the following:
- Restart your device
- Switch to a different WiFi network
- Try using cellular data instead
If it works on cellular but not WiFi:
- Reconnect to the WiFi network
- Check your IP address using: whatismyipaddress.com
- Contact Convo Support and share the IP address so we can help troubleshoot
💡 Pro tip:
Before traveling, check with your hotel or accommodation to confirm that their WiFi allows international calls.
